A caring hand to help you through the funeral planning process

Making funeral arrangements can be a stressful and confusing process. We are here to help you step-by-step, so you can focus on your loved ones. We are a full service funeral home and a crematory, which means all of the preparation is done on-site at Hennessey. Our staff of licensed funeral directors, embalmers, certified crematory operators and funeral ambassadors will help coordinate all aspects of the planning process.

We’ll guide you through the following steps in the funeral process:
Let us help you start the planning process.  Call us at (509) 328-2600 or contact us online.

STEP 1: Family member or loved one comes into the care of Hennessey Funeral Home and Crematory.

We understand how important it is to have your trust. Your loved one will be treated with the highest level of respect and care.

Our caring staff are devoted to the diverse needs of your family and friends.

STEP 2: Schedule a meeting with a funeral director.

Your dedicated funeral director will discuss the details of the ceremony, burial or urn placement. Additional considerations, such as military honors, will be coordinated in conjunction with your needs.

Plans will be made for viewings, dates, locations, music, photos, announcements and the obituary. Additional requests or needs will be discussed.

At this time you will choose a casket or urn, flowers, and memorial video.

STEP 3: Hennessey will arrange all services according to your unique needs.

We take to heart all of your needs and arrange services which honor your loved one’s unique life. Funeral planning and coordination is carried out at Hennessey by our own caring and licensed staff–we do not outsource.

STEP 4: Coordinate burial or urn placement.

Whether you have chosen a burial or urn placement service, we coordinate with the representatives of area cemeteries and resting places to ensure your final wishes are honored.
